Meditech is a Hungarian-based company which has been manufacturing PC-based non-invasive diagnostic systems for ambulatory blood pressure and ECG monitoring since 1990. Meditech focuses not only on the latest hardware technology when developing its diagnostic instruments, but it also provides complex, but user-friendly software solutions for programming, downloading and analysing BP and ECG measurements made with our devices.

 
The aim of the company is to produce high-quality equipment which can shed a new light on the correlation of different cardiovascular diseases. We are committed to make a difference in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular-related illnesses, because they have been one of the leading causes of death for decades, and they often ruin the life of those who can survive them. Early and accurate diagnosis can only be achieved by making long-term ambulatory or Holter measurements.


 



Meditech BP and Holter ECG devices are internationally recognised and succesfully used in physicians’ offices and hospitals. Although the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, China and Brasil are considered to be our most significant markets, we can provide international references from several other European, North and South American or Asian countries, but we have distributors in Australia as well.

 
The quality management system at the company has been certified by SGS Yarsley according to ISO9001 and ISO13485 international standards. Meditech devices comply with the relevant international protocols, bear the CE mark required in the EU. Meditech ambulatory blood pressure monitors, such as ABPM-05 and ABPM-04 are validated according to the BHS (British hypertension Society) and AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) criteria, and they have FDA market clearance as well.
